Another story about bad soup...

http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/53888907.html

Apparently, Suppan got a bit roughed up in his Nashville start. Here's the line:
3.2 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 0 BB, 3 K.

They make it sound like it's uncharacteristic for tampon to pitch like that. Isn't that basically how he pitches all the time? It's not like he's been a star pitcher the past 3 years. It's not gonna get any better. He's just a bad fucking pitcher.

I'm also a bit sick of this Recycling commercial featuring tampon. He states "Recycle for good Wisconsin!" We signed you, isn't that good enough?

The only reason I don't rip on him more is because he seems like a good guy, but it's getting to that point.

UPDATE: I heard this again tonight and it's actually "Recycle for good Milwaukee" Same same, fuck him.

Coach Garcia has a solution.... Our pitchers blow, we know that. No one can go longer than 5 innings, we know that. Try this... give 4 starters, not named Gallardo, 1 inning every day. Do the same with the bullpen, only mix n' match. So, one day five relievers will get to pitch and the next game the other 3 will pitch and 2 of the same relievers from the previous day. On the fifth day, everyone rests and Gallardo throws a complete game (no matter the pitch count). In essence, I want a new pitcher for every inning pitched. Maybe this would limit huge innings... it could enhance it, but I think it might throw off hitters who have to face a new pitcher every inning!
