Dimensions

I was getting a bit irritated with Dodgers stadium last night. You could hit a monster bomb that doesn't even make it to the warning track. This annoys me. I know a lot of people will disagree with me on this, but I think parks need to be at least somewhat standardized.

How is it fair that some players have half their games at PNC or Fenway and some have it at Dodgers stadium? How can you keep legit records when some players have a way easier track to hitting HR's?

I think people believe that if you standardize the parks you ruin the quirky differences that make parks great? Oh, like the giant fucking hill you have to climb to catch a ball at Minute Made park? This isn't capture the flag.

Imagine if all football fields were different lengths or widths? How would you ever plan an offensive scheme or kick a field goal? What if some pro basketball hoops were 15 feet high so you couldn't dunk? What if your mom wasn't a whore?

Think about it. (Or don't, whatever. You're an asshole anyway)

Then we would have to standardize the strike zone and out calls!! GOOD LUCK!

That is where my plan for robots officiating the game would come into play...
