Counsell at short so Hardy has the day off. Seems a little bit suspisious with the trade deadline looming. Is something in the works?
I don't think there is anything left on the market that would take a player like Hardy to get, but who knows what deal porn-stache is working on.

Hopefully Hardy has a lot more of these days off. Anytime he and his .235 average are in the order right now that means one of three .300 averages are not (Counsell, Lopez, McGeheeheehee). Right now Hardy + Quality bench time next to Bill Hall = better chance at winning ballgame. Simple equation until you throw in the unknown variable that is Brewers pitching.
I would have to agree. Hardy never came out of his slump this year. Really bad timing for him to take a year off with the Escobar question soon to be answered.
